Job Description

:

  • The Temasek Review (TR) is Temasek's annual disclosure exercise, which includes an extensive outreach at launch to our global community of stakeholders. This is done through multiple channels including print publications, microsites, social media, print and digital advertisements, content partnerships and media engagement activities.
  • This internship will give you an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in planning and executing an external-focused, multi-channel, communications campaign.
  • As one of our Digital Newsroom Interns, you will support the Public Affairs Digital team in its preparation for the Temasek Review, in one of the following areas: digital content generation or social creatives/assets development
  • Content creation for Temasek's digital platforms, including social media channels, involves:
  • Assisting in the ideation, creation, production, editing and proof-reading of social-friendly content (e.g. image and video capture and editing, online visual design, blog-styled stories)
  • Contributing towards the development and maintenance of various editorial calendars
  • Social asset development involves:
  • Executing a Singapore-focused content marketing campaign by supporting the ideation and creation of social -oriented creatives /assets, as well as content amplification and social ad buy strategies
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and spoken English; working proficiency with Chinese is considered a strong plus.
  • Prior internship experience(s) at a public relations/social media agency or an organisation's corporate communications/marketing/digital department will also be considered as a strong plus.
  • University undergraduates pursuing any of these majors: Communications, Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Marketing, Business Management, Economics, Accountancy and Finance. We also welcome applicants from other disciplines such as Political Science, Psychology and Sociology.
  • Available full-time for a minimum of 10-12 weeks, starting from end April 2023 or early May 2023. Interns must minimally be prepared to work over weekends during peak periods.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel and Word (in no particular order)
  • Basic proficiency with photo and video editing programmes such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Basic proficiency in website production and content curation

  • Familiar with or demonstrates keen interest in new digital media and means of communication

  • Excellent attention to details
  • An effective team player who can contribute towards shared goals
  • Able to work long hours and within tight deadlines
