We are seeking a strategic and technically adept

AI Lead / Project Manager

to spearhead the integration of

AI capabilities

into mission-critical

Command & Control (C2)

systems for homeland and public security agencies.





You will lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to deployment, transforming traditional systems into

AI-powered platforms

that enable

real-time situational awareness

,

predictive analytics

, and

decision automation

.





This is a

strategic and hands-on leadership role

, ideal for someone with

deep AI/ML

experience and the ability to work across product, engineering, and public agency teams.

Key Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Planning


Drive the AI transformation roadmap for operational C2 systems/ mission-critical systems. Identify high-impact AI use cases across incident response, threat detection, and automation.
AI Solution Architecture & Integration


Design and lead the integration of AI capabilities (e.g. Computer Vision, NLP, anomaly detection). Lead pilot projects and

MVPs

focused on

video analytics

, pattern detection, and

incident summarisation.

Data & Model Lifecycle Management


Develop strategies for

data acquisition, labelling, fusion (sensor feeds, video, public data).

Manage end-to-end ML lifecycle: training, testing, deployment, monitoring, and feedback loops.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration


Work closely with product managers, system engineers, DevSecOps, and government stakeholders. Ensure AI systems adhere to

cybersecurity, operational, and regulatory standards

Innovation & Best Practices


Benchmark against global initiatives (e.g.,

Project Maven

,

Aurora AI

). Build internal AI capabilities: tools, platforms, and team expertise.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in applied AI, with at least 3 years in technical leadership. Strong experience in

real-time systems with AI/ML applications

(CV, NLP, sensor fusion). Solid understanding of

model deployment pipelines, cloud/edge deployment, and secure data architectures.

Knowledge of ethical AI, explainability, and AI governance principles.
