Job Description
This is an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our growing team and support our research program. The role will be primarily responsible for managing multiple research projects using Project Management techniques and procedures. These research projects will vary in nature and will include large programs (with multiple work packages and partners) as well as collaborations with industry partners. In addition to project management, the role will involve interfacing with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor in chemistry and/or Chemical Engineering-related disciplines
- At least 2 years of experience in a research and development and/or project management role. Relevant working experience in project management role within industry would be an advantage.
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end by planning, organising, executing, and evaluating from conception to completion
- Manage and implement changes in project scope, identify potential risks and devise contingency plans
- Oversee and deliver multiple R&D projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal) to manage engagement with internal and external stakeholders on project status, deliverables, and milestones
- Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Ability to collaborate effectively with researchers and achieve outcomes
