Our IT Estates Team

The Estates IT team is aligned to the Corporate Real Estate function in order to:

• Act as a single point of contact within IT for the Corporate Real Estate function
• Lead the IT stream for the design and delivery of new offices across the world
• Partner with IT product owners to ensure technology standards are followed (Infrastructure, Network, AV, Workstations, EUC, \xe2\x80\xa6)
• Support innovation and maintain alignment with business needs
• Lead the delivery of new Digital Workplace Services (space booking, concierge services, smart building technology, \xe2\x80\xa6)
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with the business and all other areas of IT, ensuring regular communication of service requirements, service improvements, risks, service changes and service provisioning issues

The Role

Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for:

• End-to-end project management of small, medium or large complexity estates projects (or a combination) and upholding the highest standards of project management methodology including regular and effective communication with key stakeholders, reporting, governance, change management and thorough risk management
• Representing IT Estates interests, standards and specifications in projects delivered by other areas of IT or the business, specifically for estates projects
• Contributing to transforming Dyson IT Estates services into a strategic function by ensuring projects are structured, well planned and executed to plan, budget and agreed scope
• Creating exceptional quality project setup documents detailing scope, assumptions, success criteria, risks, governance structure (as it relates to both IT Estates governance and wider IT PMO governance)
• Enabling the growth and success of Dyson by working with team managers to produce checkpoint reports and project highlight reports, upholding the IT project management methodology, looking for improvements to discuss with the Programme Manager
• Supporting or creating project multi-functional business cases and accurate project budget requests through the project approval processes
• Throughout the project delivery, tracking and measuring business case realization in close partnership with Business Stakeholders
• Effectively managing key project risks and issues

Requirements

• Minimal bachelor degree in related disciplines
• Project management qualifications (APM, Prince2 or PMI)
• Budget management and financial reporting
• At least 3 to 5 years\' experience of IT Infrastructure Project Management (e.g. experience working with stakeholders outside of IT in relation to the construction and fit out of new office space - e.g. General Contractors, M&E Consultants, Cabling contractors etc.) in relation to new office builds or office relocations
• At least 2 years\' experience (outside of the pandemic) of managing large complex projects remotely
• Experience of IT Infrastructure Project Management (e.g. Network, Server, Storage, Audio Visual, Data Centre) in relation to new office builds or office relocations
• A proven record in delivery
• Demonstrable knowledge of practitioner experience through all stages of project lifecycles, including development of business cases, mobilization of projects, detailed planning, Change Request management etc.
• Vendor management including procurement, as well as contract & invoice management
• Experience of delivering medium sized projects with budgets in excess of \xc2\xa3200k
• Experience of successfully leading large multi-disciplinary project teams potentially across multiple organizations and locations
• IT change management / communication planning
• Ability to lead an engagement with a client
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Good business sense, with business and/or functional knowledge
• Be able to think holistically and analytically and know when to take which approach
• Be capable of visualizing a problem context/situation, develop a number of resolution options and think them through from concept to implementation
• Experience in the PropTech industry is a strong advantage
• Singaporeans and PRs highly preferred
