Job Description

• Lead construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with the department's accounting manager, and will also supervise the various professionals associated with the project including the procurement, architect, engineer, and others.
• Lead pre-bid and pre-construction meetings.
• Recommend and solicit bids for general contractor/subcontractors.
• Assist in evaluating bids to determine opportunities for cost/time savings.
• Day-to-day management of contractors/subcontractors and vendors involved with assigned projects.
• Responsible for cost and schedule controls of projects to ensure projects are on time and on budget.
• Utilize Spitfire project management software for costs analysis.
• On-site construction oversight.
• Prepare weekly project status report outlines, schedules, variance to budget, potential cost overruns or additional work for senior management.
• Proactively communicate potential areas that may impact schedule and/or budget.
• Provide on-going communication of overall scope of work with operations team at the property to assure minimal disruption to guests and to revenue.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• candidate must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel and resort construction as a construction project manager or as a hotel owner's representative/project manager with a professional firm.

• Proficient with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to generate, update and maintain weekly project status reports.
• Well-organized self-starter with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent Communication skills.

• Willing to be assigned in Palawan
