Lead construction projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate with the department's accounting manager, and will also supervise the various professionals associated with the project including the procurement, architect, engineer, and others.
Lead pre-bid and pre-construction meetings.
Recommend and solicit bids for general contractor/subcontractors.
Assist in evaluating bids to determine opportunities for cost/time savings.
Day-to-day management of contractors/subcontractors and vendors involved with assigned projects.
Responsible for cost and schedule controls of projects to ensure projects are on time and on budget.
Utilize Spitfire project management software for costs analysis.
On-site construction oversight.
Prepare weekly project status report outlines, schedules, variance to budget, potential cost overruns or additional work for senior management.
Proactively communicate potential areas that may impact schedule and/or budget.
Provide on-going communication of overall scope of work with operations team at the property to assure minimal disruption to guests and to revenue.
QUALIFICATIONS:
candidate must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel and resort construction as a construction project manager or as a hotel owner's representative/project manager with a professional firm.
Proficient with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to generate, update and maintain weekly project status reports.
Well-organized self-starter with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent Communication skills.
Willing to be assigned in Palawan
