Job Description


JOB MISSION:
The Project & Business Analysis Manager oversees the effective deployment and maintenance of client-oriented systems such as POS, CRM, eCommerce, and other retail-focused platforms, collaborating with system owners within the Regional Technology and Digital Services team.
Furthermore, this role entails actively pinpointing business domains where technological enhancements can augment business outcomes. It involves aiding in the implementation of technology-driven solutions on a global, regional, and local scale to enhance market performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital transformation in the CRM, Retail, and e-business technologies space

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Regional & Global counterparts to champion Chanel\'s digital brand value.
  • Assume responsibility for various activities, including gathering requirements, defining customer journeys, coordinating with agencies and consultants, assisting in local customizations, managing end-user testing, and overseeing technical performance
  • Work closely with the business team to ensure alignment of business requirements and desired outcomes.
  • Orchestrate change management efforts within local IT (for systems) and business (for processes) to deliver a seamless Omni-channel experience for customers.
  • Deliver necessary technical training to users as needed.
  • Establish Omni-channel integration across various online platforms wherever feasible (e.g., e-Retail).
Project Management
  • Work closely with essential customers to align expectations with project objectives and goals.
  • Actively engage in the development and verification of SIT & UAT test cases, involving stakeholders directly.
  • Monitor the project\'s advancement in comparison to the project plan, and collaboratively make adjustments to ensure successful completion, based on predefined project success criteria.
  • Provide regular status updates on the project to client sponsors and IT management.
  • Take the lead in resolving issues through effective issue and risk management. Escalate issues to the decision-making body when necessary.
Technical Support
  • Serve as the primary local contact for IT technical support on all Retail and Customer-related projects.
  • Collaborate with Regional IT and vendors to address and troubleshoot any issues.
Information Security
  • Collaborate with the Information Security teams regarding applications and processes associated with Client Solutions.
  • Guarantee that initiatives are executed in compliance with the Information Security framework, and provide assistance during assessments and audits.
Vendor Management
  • Oversee and verify that vendors meet the required service levels.
  • Guarantee timely deployment and delivery as per set schedules.
  • Ensure vendors adhere to contract agreements and terms.
Budgetary and Performance
  • Propose service enhancement plans and ensure timely execution of recommended actions.
  • Supervise and track the budget for market initiatives as needed.
ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:
Academic/Professional Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree
  • While undergraduate degrees in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields are preferred, they are not mandatory.
  • Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous, but not obligatory.
Work Experience
  • Possesses a minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in implementing Retail systems and e-commerce solutions, with verifiable success stories.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in guiding projects through the entire life cycle, involving diverse internal and external teams on both local and global scales, including vendors, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Skilled in various disciplines, encompassing IT and strategic planning, IT operations, ERP, CRM, BI, vendor management, project management, and change management.
  • Exhibits a practical understanding of integrating retail technologies such as POS, CRM, O2O, OMS, BI, and e-Commerce.
  • Experience as a consultant with a reputable firm is a plus
