Job Title: Project Manager

Work Location: Harbourfront /Jurong - SG

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate

management, is recruiting a Project Manager to join a key client team located in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have full accountability and responsibility for the safe management and delivery of project(s) works in line with CBRE and client playbooks, processes, and procedures.
  • Manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality, HSE and risk)
  • for client projects. Key activities to include, but not limited to, planning, scope development, design, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s) in line with CBRE and client playbooks.
  • Demonstrate capability to read, understand and apply standard documents affecting client projects, including but not limited to, lease agreements, construction contracts, work permits, method statements, surveys, and drawings.
  • Interface directly with client to define project(s) requirements; support the development of early project scope, cost, schedules and milestones, quality control, and risk identification (i.e. Charters, etc.) and providing critical due diligence project support in the lead up to Business Financial Approval.
  • Identify project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists; manage, run, and draw up tenders on
  • behalf of the client as required. Complete full tender analysis of all consultant and sub-contractor returns and prepare bid recommendations for client acceptance.
  • Interface with statutory bodies as required and identify, reduce, and manage all statutory and commercial risks. Establish and manage procedures for identifying applicable Law requirements associated with the project(s).
  • Ensure CBRE and client QHSE practices and processes are fully embedded and adhered to, including preparing and maintaining a Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) plan and file for each project.
  • Ensure active risk management is in place to identify complex project risks, lead constructability
  • reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and appropriately stored in line with the client
  • governance requirements; ensuring project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated.

Others scope & responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain applicable financial controls and processes for effective cost and schedule management. Prepare financial reports for client in the agreed format and at the frequency requested.
  • Ensure client change management process is adhered to; assess impact to scope, budget,
  • schedule, quality, and risk and make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change request in timely manner.
  • Coordinate, attend & lead project meetings / conference calls to progress any aspect of the Project; manage project meeting information, including proposed dates for regular occurring and milestone meetings; issue agendas and minutes for all project meetings.
  • Benchmark and tabulate key data from projects to build historic referencing and establish pricing and performance metrics for future projects.
  • Support the PMO Director in managing and delivering business strategy.
Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, analytical and computer-literate with proven leadership skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction practices and techniques, contract laws, project controls and building support systems.
  • Proven track record safely delivering exceptional projects in either an M&E, FM, construction, or
  • critical environments.
  • Excellent motivational and influencing skills, with high levels of personal integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability, able to prioritise and deliver within high
  • pressure, business critical environments.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills in both English and local language.
  • Occasional travelling required.
  • Qualifications and Education -Degree level qualification within Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering
  • or equivalent to appropriate 4-year college program.
  • Recognised technical qualification in Construction, Mechanical or Electrical or similar (desirable)
8 years relevant industry experience.
