Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Property Management division, the Project Manager ensures successful completion of all projects by being the technical expert and end-to-end process Reporting to the Vice President of Property Management division, the Project Manager ensures successful completion of all projects by being the technical expert and end-to-end process owner for the construction management function and the key responsibilities include: Support leadership and contribute to the strategic development of Property Management by managing initiatives, special studies, or due diligence assignments. Accountable for overall project delivery, team management and coordination with stakeholders across project stages. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and implement real estate and workplace strategies, ensuring requirements are captured and accounted for early in the design, timeline, and budget estimates. Prepare capital and operating budgets for approval and tracking. Review and vet detailed construction cost estimates, with relevant local market cost benchmarks, and documentation for funding approvals. Oversee the consistent end-to-end implementation and adherence to local codes and regulations, standards, processes, and policies to guide behaviours, control cost, minimise risk and ensure operational consistency across all projects. Coordinate project milestones and design reviews with stakeholders prior to sign-off stages to allow opportunities for comment, direction and approval. Leverage best practices with early identification and reporting of risks and mitigations status of works based on key milestones. Advocate design excellence within agreed cost parameters and on time delivery, in line with workplace, environmental, inclusivity, health & safety, security, technology policies and procedures. Responsible for the tendering process and manage the vendor identification and selection process. Ensure proper documentation of drawings, both digital and hard copies. Job Requirements Possess at least 5 years of experience in providing project management solutions for corporate real estate clients with a strong focus on corporate interiors and office fit outs. Ability to review, analyse, interpret, and present real estate financial analysis and scenario planning that enables leadership to make informed decisions. Possess experience in managing multiple projects and/or teams, handling conflicting priorities and managing capital budgets for real estate/project build outs. Experience in and knowledge of procurement routes i.e., Single stage lump sum, Design and Build, Turnkey. Experience in preparing, reviewing, and implementing project timelines for real/estate/project build outs based on different procurement routes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented, organized and deadline-conscious. Proven experience working with Architects, MEP, and all other sub consultants that make up the overall design team. Proven experience working with General Contractors, and working knowledge of sub trades that work within the build portfolio. Working experience with technology, security designs and implementation, as well as with furniture dealers and manufacturers Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
