Together, we're pioneering the future of science and medicine, developing products that enable researchers in the fight to save lives.Project Manager, R&DI.GENERAL SUMMARY & OVERALL CHALLENGESResponsible for leading the R&D Innovation Project using Accelerated Product Development (APD) process to achieve project targets (quality, delivery and cost), in accordance with Leica's strategy and financial framework within budgeting and resource constraints. Comply and adhere to the regulatory and company's EHS requirement.Responsibilities Lead planning and implementation of projects. May participate in the design and/ or testing phases facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables define project tasks and resource requirements develop full scale project plans assemble and coordinate project staff manage project budget and resource allocation track project deliverables using APD process provide direction and support to project team constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project targetsRequirementsProfessional Experience Minimum 3 years' experience as R&D Project Manager Knowledge in medical/biomedical/pharmaceutical product development Excellent track records in project delivery (delivered on-time, meeting product requirements and cost efficiency), including projects involving customers Good working knowledge of product design (mechanical/electronics/ software) is essentialb) Education Masters or Degree in Engineering or similarc) Travel (required estimated % of time) 10%d) Other Knowledge of ISO 13485/ GMP 21 CFR 820 Experience in TUV (ISO 13485)/ FDA (GMP 21 CFR 820) audit would be an added advantage Systematic in problem solving approach and creative thinker Strong interdisciplinary communication skills Certificate in Project Management would be preferredWHAT WE OFFER Equal pay is a given for us.
