Technical Knowledge
Basic understanding of electrical systems
: LV/MV/HV systems, cabling, conduit, lighting, earthing, and panel installations. Ability toread electrical drawings
, layouts, and single-line diagrams (SLDs). Knowledge of relevantelectrical codes and standards
(e.g., IEC, NEC).2. Project Planning Software
Primavera P6
Microsoft Project
Asta Powerproject
AutoCAD (for electrical layouts)
Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools is a plus.
3.
Reporting & Documentation
Preparing:
Progress reports
Daily/weekly activity reports
Site diaries/logs
Supporting senior planners or PMs in:
Dashboard preparation
S-curve updates
Delay analysis input
4.
Basic Cost & Quantity Tracking
Monitoring
electrical material quantities
and deliveries. Trackinglabor productivity
and assisting in resource planning. Exposure toBOQ (Bill of Quantities)
andmaterial take-offs
.5.
Site Coordination
Liaising with:
Electrical engineers
Site supervisors
Subcontractors
Attending site coordination meetings and updating progress against targets. Basic understanding of
HSE practices
in electrical works.6. Soft Skills
Good
communication skills
- writing clear reports, attending meetings.Team collaboration
- works well with planning and site execution teams.Problem-solving
- assists in resolving minor scheduling or site issues. Strongtime management
and ability to handle multiple tasks.7. Education & Certifications
Degree/Diploma
in Electrical Engineering or related field. Basic training or certification in:Primavera P6
Project Management (e.g., PMP basics or CAPM )
Health & Safety (e.g., OSHA or equivalent)
