As a crucial link between the technical and commercial aspects of projects, the Project Proposal Engineer ensures customer satisfaction and successful handover to the Project Execution team.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborative Sales Approachxefx83x98 Partner closely with all stakeholders to serve customers effectively and meet team sales targets.Proposal & Quotation Preparationxefx83x98 Analyze requests for proposals to understand project scope, technical requirements and customer expectations.xefx83x98 Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies in proposals.xefx83x98 Ensure proposals adhere to industry standards and compliance regulations.xefx83x98 Utilize CEP and SAP systems to prepare accurate costings, quotations, and proposals for companyxe2x80x99s products, services, and third-party packages.xefx83x98 Terms & condition (T&C) review & negotiationCustomer Engagement and Technical Assistancexefx83x98 Summarize customer specifications and create a Deviation/Clarification list.xefx83x98 Participate in technical clarification meetings with customers, clarifying companyxe2x80x99s proposed deviations.xefx83x98 Handle inquiries via various communication channels, provide technical assistance and advice, follow up on quotations, negotiate terms, close orders, and maintain customer relationships.Cross-Department Coordinationxefx83x98 Work with Sales teams, Service, Finance and Supply Chain departments to gather necessary input for quotations and proposals.Order Processing and Verificationxefx83x98 Verify customer Purchase Orders, convert quotations into sales orders, and process orders using the SAP system.Customer Service and Problem Resolutionxefx83x98 Deliver exceptional customer service, build strong relationships, resolve problems, and address complaints effectively.Additional Responsibilitiesxefx83x98 Perform any other tasks required by the Company to support its business strategy.KEY REQUIREMENTSxefx83x98 Diploma or Degree in Control/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalentxefx83x98 At least 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Instrumentation and Automation/Control Engineeringxefx83x98 Relevant Technical knowledge (Would be an advantage)xefx83x98 Proven track records and experience with project proposalxefx83x98 Enthusiastic, dynamic, and customer-oriented personalityxefx83x98 Systematic and meticulousxefx83x98 Strong ability to work effectively within a team environment.xefx83x98 Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.xefx83x98 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.KEY COMPETENCIESxefx83x98 Strong project management skills (PMP certification would be an advantage)xefx83x98 Technical knowledgexefx83x98 Effective communication and interpersonal skillsxefx83x98 Self-Motivated and Independentxefx83x98 Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesxefx83x98 Customer-focused with a commitment to quality and satisfaction
