Job Description

Our client is a leader in the Water Treatment industry in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Proposal Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.

Responsibilities

Review tender specifications and customer requirements to prepare process designs. Obtain quotes from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors based on requirements. Collaborate with vendors to explore new technologies and implement customer applications. Engage with customers for technical information and clarifications. Prepare cost-effective estimates. Create commercial and technical proposals for timely bid submissions. Generate and coordinate P&ID and General Arrangement drawings. Work with Business Development to apply strategies for winning bids. Coordinate with technical teams for clarification support. Follow up on submitted proposals and opportunities. Negotiate with vendors and customers when necessary. Upon project award, verify PO contract compliance. Build and maintain customer relationships to drive more opportunities. Any ad-hoc duty as given

Requirement

Min Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering. Min 4 year of experience in water treament, onshore/offshore Knowledge or experience in water treatment process and wastewater treatment such as Filtration, MBBR, MBR, UF or EDI Experience in mechanical, motors, valves and piping or electrical components Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, good report writing skills
