We are looking for an experienced Public Affairs Manager for the Asia Pacific Region (APR), covering 11 countries.

It is our objective to secure a clear Danfoss visibility as a thought leader in our markets. In this role, you will lead the diverse public affairs projects and international events, ranging from project management of public-private partnerships, developing advocacy campaigns, preparing the top management for conferences and media events, to informing the overall strategy with political insights across the countries. On top of that, you will develop strong and fact-based messaging and story lines for senior management in public affairs activities e.g., slides, articles, and key messaging in an easy useable format for preparation to roundtable discussions and external speeches for thought leadership as well as talent attraction activities.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Identify strategic public affairs opportunities and identify relevant trends that drive our business
  • Develop public affairs campaigns, including formulating and communicating political positions, objectives, and key messages
  • Inform business decision and strategy with political insights and advice top management on policy and regulatory issues
  • Align and coordinate strategic communication, including leadership communication, public affairs and media relations across the organization
  • Develop speeches, presentations, press releases, and apply solid writing skills to produce creative write-ups throughout our internal and external channels (articles, blogs, social media)
  • Build and maintain a network and manage stakeholder engagement, representing Danfoss as thought leader in initiatives and organization
  • Secure internal communication about industry trends, technology, and projects
  • Collaborate with colleagues from segments and countries, including on setting strategies, preparing, and executing activities as well as shaping our communication among key targets groups

  • Master/Degree in Marketing or Communication or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years\' relevant experience and flair for sustainability and energy efficiency agenda
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • Proactive communicator both online and offline
  • Able to perform well in a matrix organization and drive progress and support across teams
  • Possess solid writing skills to produce creative write-ups/articles/copywriting
  • Has strong international network and can juggle different agendas
