Job Description

The Public Policy Manager (Tax) will provide support to a primary real estate development of Client\xe2\x80\x99s subsidiary and be required to work alongside government authorities in Cambodia to develop tax incentives policies regarding a large scale township development.

What you will do:

• Conduct research on policies and strategies, including those related to tax incentives, financial regulations and anti-money laundering to promote advocacy
• Analyze relevant policy and regulatory frameworks, including those related to economics, taxation, anti-money laundering, foreign exchanges and incentives for industries alongside related government authorities
• Develop evidence-based policy recommendations with a goal to achieve intended result for the project
• Advance tax policies that are important and in alignment with the country\xe2\x80\x99s development
• Foster relationships with key government agencies and regulators
• Partner with cross-function teams including investment, project development and corporate advisory to incorporate solid policy fundamentals that aids the development and success of the project

Other Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience working in public tax policy related roles, in a public sector or consultant position
• Effective interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated ability to interact comfortably at highest corporate and political levels
• A self-starter who can take general direction and produce specific results with limited resources
• Frequent traveling may be required
