Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains productive relationships with clients, editors, reporters, bloggers and influencers
- Develop public relations strategies and coordinate team efforts to implement them
- Develop all manner of content for media pitching, including pitch letters, press releases, byline articles, specification sheets and media announcements
- Develop client-related materials such as briefing books, program reports and memos
- Works with account supervisor to develop and implement program strategies and assist in the writing of public relations plans and conducting media/blogger \xe2\x80\x9cpitching\xe2\x80\x9d
- Conducts research, including measuring public relations, integrated marketing, which includes, among other tasks, compiling press clips, writing media placement and digital analytic reports
- Plans, conducts or supervises the media/blogger relations tasks including pitching efforts, follow-up contact, reporting, campaign fulfilment, etc.
- Assists with administrative assignments for client and/of agency
Requirements
- Degree in Communications/Marketing/Public Relations or Minimally 1 year of professional public relations or other comms related role (preferably within an agency environment)
- Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of products as well as Google Suite and file sharing platforms
- Strong language command; possess excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Organised and systematic; ability to adhere to deadline
- Ability to multi-task during crunch period
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge in Blockchain/Crypto is preferred but not compulsory
- Prefer candidates from agency handling fintech / esports clients
