Get to know the role:
This role will accelerate the growth of GrabAds by establishing our reputation as a leading online advertising channel in Southeast Asia. The role will also support several other emerging b2b product lines for Grab, including Grab for Business and GrabMaps. This is a unique opportunity to help shape high-growth new business lines for Grab, operating in a fast-paced and dynamic global industry.
You will work hands on with a wide range of stakeholders to establish a clear and compelling narrative for our b2b products, and lead the development and execution of creative, impactful and proactive storytelling in key markets across Southeast Asia.
We're looking for an independent thinker and problem solver, highly collaborative with a strong sense of ownership, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment. The successful candidate must have a strong track record of developing and executing communications programmes from the ground up, with proven results. They should be a strong data storyteller, able to translate data from our research and analytics teams it into compelling and uniquely-Grab stories and insights for merchants large and small, as well as for large advertisers not yet active on our platform. Excellent writing skills, critical thinking, and the ability to structure longer term plans and initiatives are a must.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Shape the narrative across our b2b product portfolio, developing and telling stories that inspire advertisers large and small to advertise with us
Collaborate across teams to drive thought leadership for our b2b leaders
Highlight the success of our advertisers build and activate advocates among this community
Organise and oversee media and influencer events
Manage international media relations, executive profiling, and earned speaking opportunities
Track PR outcomes, in partnership with PR agencies, according to budget and business requirements
Skill-sets we need you to have:
Strong media relations experience in b2b a plus
Internet sector and agency experience preferred 8+ years experience
Experience working in a local or regional team in a fast-growth company
Hands-on, proactive and self-driver
A creative flair
Fluency in English is required proficiency in additional Southeast Asian languages is a plus
