To support our growth plans, we seek to recruit a collaborative, dynamic and results-driven individual to join us as Merchandiser Responsibilities:- Execute and assist the HOD in the product sourcing
- Manage products and services life cycle from start to end, from concept, to design, sample production, testing, forecast, cost, mass production, promotion, support, and finally end of products and services life
- Ensure cost optimisation by managing inventory, COG and implementing pricing strategies.
- Keep abreast of the market trends and respond appropriately with forecasting of the future needs or trends.
- Manage supplier relations to build mutually beneficial partnerships and collaborations.
- Prepare monthly statistical analysis.
- Assist in the day to day buying activities to support operations to achieve business objectives.
- Weekly inventory replenishment planning and report
- Devise Long term development strategies for product categories
- Foster relationships with vendors to achieve sales objectives
- Close liaison with Marketing team on promotions
- Knowledge in Adobe illustrator and photoshop is an added advantage
- Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline
- Keen interest and knowledge of lifestyle trends
- Able to handle multi-tasking and work under pressure
- PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Words
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, time management and negotiation skills
- Meticulous, time management and decision making skills
