We are in search of a resourceful and responsible Purchasing Analyst / Buyer to
What are you expected to do?
Issue purchase orders for re-buy items as and when necessary. Issue purchase orders for new items when authorized by the relevant Merchandiser / Brand Manager.
Source appropriate factories and nourish good relationships with Domestic and International vendors for the best terms.
Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors.
Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.
Prepare purchase orders.
Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
Assist in maintaining a library of factories/vendors.
Collect and analyze data pertaining to product and stock status, based on this information, place reorders.
Monitor new items and place purchase orders according to minimum order quantity.
Examine shipping advice, unconfirmed purchase orders, and sales confirmation to ensure information is accurate.
Update ship date, pricing, and packing changes when necessary.
Review open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
Negotiate pricing and delivery dates to ensure the best option for the company.
Identify problems and the cause of the problem and provide suggested solutions.
Track PO status and price changes. Communicate price changes to merchandisers / Brand Managers.
Enforce vendors to follow procedures and evaluate vendors’ performance based on pricing and delivery terms.
Review invoices and submit foreign payment package to accounting for payment. Assist in resolving any discrepancy between receiving an invoice.
Maintain a good working relationship with vendors.

You’ll be a great fit if:
You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or relevant procurement experience 4 years +
You have Domestic and International purchasing experience
You have experience of classifying goods using Harmonized Tariff Schedule
You have strong negotiation skills
You have strong organisational skills
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
We will be absolutely thrilled if:
You have good computer skills: (Microsoft Outlook, above-average Excel experience, Word) – Advantage system a plus
You have knowledge of US import procedures
