Job Overview:
Milestone Technologies is seeking a skilled Purchasing Analyst. How You Will Make An Impact:
Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

  • Review and place orders using our integrated purchasing software.
  • Ensure purchase orders are approved and sent in a timely manner to our suppliers.
  • Work with our goods receiving team to ensure all goods are received on time and meet our defined quality standards.
  • Scan and save all packing slips for received goods on a daily basis for the reconciling team to action.
  • Communicate efficiently with the reconciling team regarding any issues with packing slips, credit notes, and dummy orders.
  • Place orders for smallwares and equipment in accordance with the approved list.
  • Complete monthly inventory of our small wares and equipment stores.
  • Complete inventories for the Bay Area and PNW for all products (finished product and prepped product) and manage pars.
  • Order using pars with on-site operations teams.
  • Monitor and track supplier issue data on our supplier tracker.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
  • Execute SOPs for standard practices (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Pull spend reports for category reviews
  • Collect vendor data (product substitutions, credits, cost fluctuations, product quality, delivery times, etc.)
  • Supporting vendor relations in a timely manner (one hour maximum) on all customer service requests
What You Will Need To Succeed:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work effectively within deadlines in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Ability to build relationships within all levels of the company.
  • Able to prioritize and use available tools to be highly productive and manage high volumes.
