Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

About the job

  • Work with the Purchasing Manager to optimize related areas of spend for procurement activities.
  • Implement short-term and long-term cost reduction strategies established by management.
  • Works with high ethical standards, in compliance with the law and the client\xe2\x80\x99s policies and procedures.
  • Develop supplier base to expand the business, improve financials, reduce in-house/total costs, improve quality (customer satisfaction), customer relations, and on-time deliveries.
  • Identify potential vendors.
  • Recommend strategy: RFP / RFI / RFQ / Pricing Auction. Responsible for running local tenders, aligned with direction from Purchasing Manager and respective Category Manager.
  • Develop and write all sourcing event documents.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Improve supplier service levels by integrating agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Secures financial / saving reports.
  • Perform and collect due diligence information required for evaluating and approving new suppliers, in line with the Preferred Supplier Networks.
  • Data analysis and administrative support for purchasing projects and supplier management (supplier metrics and research, master data, market basket analysis, pricing analysis, monthly/quarterly reporting of KPI\xe2\x80\x99s, savings reporting).

About you

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree/ Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of procurement/negotiations experience in indirect purchasing preferably but not limited to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong experience with writing RFX\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Familiarity with SAP/ DSP.
  • Solid experience conducting vendor negotiations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to all team members, stakeholders, management, and suppliers.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload across multiple projects.
  • Ability to develop and grow relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to comprehend procurement processes as well as basic knowledge of indirect products and services used globally.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction.
