Job Description
- Clementi, Singapore
- Transport Pick Up from Clementi MRT
- Monday - Friday (Flexible Working Hours)

- Source and obtain competitive quotations for materials
- Execute orders according to purchasing guidelines
- Expedite orders and monitor delivery status
- Communicate with superintendents or ship repair manager for matters relating to requisitions
- Negotiate term contracts/fixed price agreements/credit terms with suppliers
- Involve in vendor management activities (New vendor pre-qualification, vendor site audit and annual evaluation etc)
- Any other task assigned from time to time
- Purchasing experience in ship chandler, ship manager or shipyard
- Resourceful with good knowledge of marine suppliers
- Negotiations skills with suppliers (price, delivery, credit terms etc)
- Analysis of quotations and make recommendations to requestors
