We're on the lookout for Senior Purchasing Executive to join our dynamic team!

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Source for products and suppliers according to our needs, in line with our high-quality standards yet keeping within the budget.

• Maintain and improve business relationships with established suppliers and fellow colleagues.

• Effective in written and verbal communication skills to present detailed reports, and give recommendations on products.

• Strong negotiation skills in securing competitive product prices with suppliers

• Preparation of tender contracts for suppliers.

• Monitor suppliers’ performance to ensure timely deliveries and specifications of products ordered.

• Analyse technical information from suppliers' proposals.

• Monitor and analyze trends in spending and inventory control and make recommendations to identify areas for saving.

• Analyse trends and market conditions for pricing, availability, lead time, and capacity of goods & services.

• Analyse market trends and collaborate with senior management and the marketing department to come out with new promotions.

• Make purchases overseas, purchase equipment and customized products

• Calculate costing for tendered menu and project.

• Menu item programming and supplier & inventory maintenance.

• Any other Ad-hoc tasks assigned.
  

• 2 - 3 years of experience in the F&B industry.

• Candidate must possess a Diploma or Degree in Food & Beverage Services Management, Commerce or equivalent.

• Fluent in English & Mandarin to liaise with co-workers and suppliers.

• Knowledge of basic business principles, purchasing methods, and procedures in the assigned field.

• Proficient in Excel skills.

• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.

• Must be able to lead and guide subordinates.

• Effective delegation skills.

• Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices.

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm
