Job Summary

Job summary:

The Purchasing Manager will be based in Changi South, Singapore.

What a typical day looks like:

• Streamline Purchasing processes, develop integrated Purchasing strategies to effectively manage the suppliers on order fulfillment, assurance of supply
• Lead, develop & implement policies, procedures and metrics to effectively manage the Materials shortages & ensure order fulfillment. Streamline procedures and implement solutions.
• Manage the team to achieve Key KPI on OTD, Inventory turns, excess & obsolescence, aging Inventory, day of supply in RAW, WIP & SG....
• Interface with both internal & external stakeholder to derive achievable targets, set up strategic plan and drive the team towards meeting the target as set forth
• Closely monitor on the load versus commit, ensure appropriate actions are taken on order execution to avoid obsolescence.
• Create an environment that fosters team building & high performance

The experience we\xe2\x80\x99re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor in Business administration/Inventory management/Supply chain is preferred
• Min 8-10 years of relevant work experience in Purchasing related Functions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical & problem solving & organizational skills
• Good team player
