Plan and manage all purchasing activities.
Evaluate suppliers for construction materials and equipment.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, pricing and payment terms.
Monitor procurement budget and implement cost saving strategies to ensure that each project does not exceed the budget.
Review and approve purchase orders that are within budget and in accordance with project requirements.
Maintain accurate records of pricing, purchasing activities and inventory.
Oversee and ensure that all procurement activities comply with Singapore legislation.
Coordinate and work closely with project team to ensure the smooth process of procurement activities for construction materials and equipment.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Degree in Construction Management or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years of purchasing experience in Singapore's construction industry, especially LTA projects.
Excellent negotiation skills.
