We are seeking a Purchasing Manager - IC Components to lead strategic sourcing and procurement of integrated circuit (IC) components. The role involves managing a small team, building supplier relationships, and overseeing end-to-end purchasing to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead procurement of IC components, managing supplier relationships and negotiations.
Mentor and oversee a team of 2 buyers, with potential to expand.
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize cost, quality, and supply reliability.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance; mitigate risks and identify opportunities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and align procurement strategies.
Manage budgets, purchase orders, and supplier contracts.
Participate in the commission/bonus scheme, including overriding commission on team purchases.
Requirements / Candidate Profile
Experience: 5-10+ years in procurement, preferably in IC/electronics components.
Experience leading and mentoring a small team.
Supplier negotiation, strategic sourcing, cost optimization, stakeholder management.
Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Familiarity with electronics market trends, ERP systems, and regional suppliers is a plus.
