PURPOSE OF JOB

The QA Engineer is fully responsible for the function of the quality department, assurance of product quality, and the maintenance of the QMS.

The individual will work closely with QC team and customer to ensure product quality of the customer goods. You will facilitate the assessment, identification, correction, and prevention of quality issues via risk analysis and root cause analysis tools.

You will be responsible for quality planning and establishing and maintaining metrics to improve quality system processes, process capability, reliability, and quality of the products.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY

Primary Job Duties :

• Incoming / In-process / Final Quality

• Coordinate investigation of quality issues with customer/supplier

• Performing disposition on non-conforming materials

• Support investigation & root cause analysis

• Initiating/Follow up and ensure timely closure of NCR/CAPA

• Reviewing and updating changes on ISO, AS and NADCAP requirements

• Maintenance of Measuring equipment listing & calibration

• Tracking & monitoring of the organization\xe2\x80\x99s quality objectives

• Maintenance Performing risk assessment in accordance with Work Safety Health Act

• Reviewing quality and process documentation (Process Router)

• Participate/Support in customer qualification process / First Article Inspection

• Quality Improvement / Complaint handling
  

Secondary Job Duties :

Quality Management System

• Support the implementation and maintenance of QMS according to AS9100/ISO9001, NADCAP requirements

• Coordinate with Internal Audit / Customer Audit Programme

• Preparation and handling of Certification Audits
  

Key Competencies required for the Job

• Good understanding in the implementation of QMS (AS9100/ISO9001), Quality Assurance and Quality Control methodology,

• Preferably with knowledge of Aerospace specification (AS) and NADCAP requirement of chemical processing

• AS9100/ISO9001:2015 Internal Auditor Trained Preferred

• Strong understanding in the use of Quality & Process Controls tools (CAPA, 5 Why, Risk Assessment, Control Plan, and Inspection Techniques)

• Able to interpret Engineering/Customer drawings, Skilful in handling and maintaining good customer relationship

• Able to work under pressure and lead a group of QA technician and QC inspectors
  

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Experience:

• Strong background in quality management, with minimum 3-year experience in coating/plating environment ( Oil & Gas and Aerospace Sector preferred)

• Chemical Laboratory experience preferred (Experienced in the field of Chemical laboratory analysis environment)

Qualifications / Other Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline

• Proficient in English, Computer Knowledge, and presentation skill
