• The Software QA Engineer will perform both manual and automated testing. This person will perform different types of testing such as Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Browser, and Responsive Testing, Performance Testing, Stress, and Load testing. He should have working experience on WS testing, Automated Test Scripting using Selenium, SOAP UI, and Katalon, basic SQL scripting. Knowledge and or working experience on JIRA, TestRail, Confluence, and Agile Scrum is a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
• Create basic SQL scripts to be used in Database verification.
• Develop automation scripts using Selenium, SOAP UI and Katalon
• Execute both manual automated test
• Interact with the software development team to ensure the continuous bi-directional flow of information related to the status and quality of development effort.
• Participate in reviews with the goal of identifying risks requiring testing.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, efficiency, and effectiveness

• Create and execute both manual and automated tests to identify problems and additional risks in the software under development.
• Deploy and maintain test environments for team use.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, efficiency, and effectiveness.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Specific requirements include but are not limited to:
• Understanding and ability to conduct the following testing types:
• Regression Testing
• System Testing
• Integration Testing
• User Acceptance Testing
• Experience and knowledge of SQL, Automated testing tools for web (open source or commercial), Unix/Linux, testing Java applications (an advantage).
• Familiarity with operating systems: Unix, Windows, Macintosh.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
• Filipino citizen or hold relevant residence status.
• Must have the flexibility to adapt to rotating work shifts, including the rendering of overtime when needed.
• Willing to work in Clark, Pampanga
