Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our edtech platforms, including video-on-demand lessons, live-streamed lessons, data analytics, and interactive quizzes. You should be a team player with strong communication skills and an interest in edtech.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios for our edtech platforms
• Conduct manual and automated testing to identify and report issues and bugs
• Collaborate with software engineers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
• Work with the team to develop and maintain a robust test infrastructure, including testing frameworks, tools, and systems
• Perform regression testing and maintain a library of test cases to ensure software functionality and stability
• Analyze and report on test results and provide feedback to the development team to improve product quality
• Participate in agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospective meetings

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, preferably in the edtech space
• Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium
• Strong experience with manual testing, test case design, and bug reporting
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI
• Familiarity with Javascript and testing methodologies around it
• Experience with web and mobile application testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Worked with React native in the past
• Familiarity with integration testing using Maestro or Detox
