Location: West

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am 5.33pm

Basic Salary + AWS + VB

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update online library of documents and records on ISO 9001 and product certification

• Ensure quality management system (QMS) meets business and certification needs through setting up review mechanism to highlight to management team critical concerns of quality management system
• Ensure proper documentation control & distribution, system compliance & preparations for Management Review
• Lead internal and external audits. Ensure readiness of all sectors for both 3rd party certification body and customer audits
• Manage internal and external corrective action reports (CAR)
• Coordinate with certification bodies on audit arrangement, including sample collection quantity and subsequent off-site testing
• Improving customer satisfaction through timely fulfilment of customer specifications, generating a customer complaint management system to prevent reoccurrence of complaints of similar root causes
• Research and align production process to various product certification and market needs
• Implementing process control to reduce variability
• Follow up with production centres to rectify and prevent issues at export customers
• Prepare work centres for changes in required to fulfil new product and quality certification standards, through the organisation of training with training centres
• Set up technical details contract with overseas supplier
• Work with overseas branches to fulfil product standard of the distribution locality
• Coordinate and perform overseas factory inspection for imported steel products
• Emphasizing safety through highlighting any unsafe/ good practices or conditions seen and input in the system, after coordinated site visit different location within NSH
• Budget planning and control for certification and testing expenses
• Coordinate resources and attend to customer audit request

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in any discipline relating to quality standards and applications
• Minimum 5 years industrial experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably with Quality Assurance experience
• Experience in steelmaking related industry would be advantageous
• Good analytical, reporting and presentation skills
• Able to handle cross-department communication effectively
