Job Description

Job Scope:

• Develop and maintain quality processes and conduct reviews working with global Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives and processes.
• Develop automation framework, design and execute the automation test scripts for automation testing.
• Managing defects, including identifying, logging, prioritizing, and tracking them through resolution for maintaining a high-quality product.
• Responsible for taking ownership on task and able to handle projects independently.
• Developing a comprehensive test plan and strategy for successful testing.
• Understanding project requirements, determining test coverage, and estimating testing efforts.

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in software testing. Possess good understanding of various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, DevOps) and testing processes is essential. This includes knowledge of test planning, test case creation, test execution, defect management, and regression testing.
• 4+ years of experience in automation testing. Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks is important for improving efficiency and consistency of testing.
• Knowledge of tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and scripting languages like Python or Java can be highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, re-usable and maintainable automated test scripts.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automation tests. Expertise in test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium WebDriver.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla is often required.
• Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are needed to coordinate tasks, provide guidance, and resolve conflicts within the team.
• Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner is essential.
• Ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues efficiently is valuable for resolving problems that arise during testing.
