POSITION SUMMARY:

Key role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our QAD software systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth functioning and optimization of our manufacturing processes through effective utilization of QAD applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Production, and IT, to drive system enhancements and improvements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimal 5 years proven experience as a QAD Software Engineer or a similar role, with expertise in QAD programming and customization.

3. In-depth knowledge of the QAD ERP system, including modules such as finance, manufacturing, procurement, and inventory management.

4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Progress 4GL and .NET for QAD system development.

5. Experience with system integration and data management, including web services, APIs, and data conversion.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

8. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

9. Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform regular system maintenance activities, including software upgrades, patches, and bug fixes.

2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to QAD software, working closely with end-users and global QAD/IT teams.

3. Conduct system testing and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system changes.

4. Analyze QAD performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

5. Develop custom reports, interfaces, and data migrations to support business needs.

6. Ensure seamless integration of QAD software with other enterprise systems and applications.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and automation within QAD systems.

8. Document system requirements, design specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to QAD software.

9. Provide training and technical support to end-users on QAD software functionalities and best practices.

10. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and data security protocols.

11. Participate in internal and external audits to demonstrate system compliance and data integrity.

12. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in QAD software and related technologies and recommend appropriate enhancements.

13. Maintain and keep working area to meet environmental requirements and regulation compliance.
