Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the weekly planning process and identify critical equipment PM and critical repair activities by working with Planner and Supervisors
• Work with Supervisors and Equipment Reliability Group (ERG) members to firm up quality assurance requirements of three categories of equipment (IEC, Rotating, Fixed) involving internal/external services.
• Work with Supervisors and ERG to develop job packages, for both mechanical and IE works, comprising of critical maintenance job plan, QA/QC checklists, PM record sheets, etc
• Conduct regular site checks on maintenance activities, to do stage inspection per job plan and checklists
• Review the Job plan, QA/QC documents to verify check items meet acceptance criteria and record keep them. Escalate exceptions to Supervisors and ERG members.
• Track repairable items using the new SAP repairable process and Develop/Execute repair scope involving internal/external parties
• Schedule internal repairs in MSP and conduct stage inspection to ensure quality
• Scope external repairs with clear QA/QC requirements and coordinate with service providers
• Track status of repairs at third party workshops and get repairables ready at the earliest
• Maintain the repairables list and upkeep the status for Supervisors, Planner and ERG
• Provide adhoc maintenance support to coordinate service jobs involving external contractors

• Experienced mechanical technician with minimum of 5 years hands on experience in continuous chemical/petrochemical process plant machinery maintenance
• Ability to work with fellow maintenance technicians and Promote quality culture
• Expert in the basics of machinery construction, maintenance repair and testing. Familiar with various drive arrangements, bearings and installation, Dimensions & Tolerances, Limits & Fits, Balancing, Alignment, etc.
• Qualifications in Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) will be an advantageous but not a requirement
• Review the repairable/sub-assembly list frequently to find any missed repairable items
