Job Description

The successful candidate will liaise with suppliers for proper manufacturing and packing processes and adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP), Food Safety, Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards, and product quality standards to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. The successful candidate should have ISO 22000 audit experience and ensure that internal company processes are in-line with guidelines stated by ISO 22000:2018. Key Responsibilities:

• Basic product knowledge, manage inquiries and requests for specifications/documents via email
• Review a wide variety of customer requests/inquiries as it relates to product information, food safety and quality systems, customer documents/questionnaires, etc., and customer databases
• Navigate email, Salesforce, Microsoft Navision, and other databases and systems to retrieve/upload product-specific information
• Sales support for answering product-specific questions, and information or redirecting as needed via email
• Gather and enter information into customer databases/reports for private label specifications and food safety questionnaires
• Liaison between our customers and key internal cross-functional team members including Food Design, Packaging, Sustainability, Supplier Quality, and Sales
• Assists in the support of problem-solving, improving business processes and customer requests
• Supports work in a dynamic business environment
• Champion in continuous improvement ideas for process improvement, efficiencies, and overall insights that may positively impact the business.
• Assist with gathering data to support various levels of problem-solving
• Document all work completed to easily track relatable issues
• Occasionally travel to customers on-site to troubleshoot
• Assist in personnel training on newly developed SOPs and policies.
• Remain current on matters relating to suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 production methods, analytical techniques, and applicable Singapore regulations as they relate to company products
• Take proactive action when supplier product falls short of agreed specifications to remedy the situation
• Ensure internal compliance with proper product handling and storage procedures
• Ensure the proper filing and organization of QC-related documents and files (Product Specs, Certificates of Analysis, Halal documentation, ISO 2000 documentation, etc.)
• Ensure Specification Sheet(s) for all Products are up to date and verify against Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulations on a timely basis
• Request for lab testing of product samples when necessary
• Request for shelf-life extensions from suppliers when necessary
• Ensure continuous improvement in the maintenance of quality and food safety system
• Ensure best Food Safety and Work Safety practices among employees when handling products
• Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications;

• Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent in Food Safety, Science, or business-related field preferred
• Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office) including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to navigate through the database for answers
• Able to understand and follow documented business processes
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple activities simultaneously
• Ability to apply critical thinking skills to identify problems as well as opportunities, recommending solutions
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Navision) preferred.

• Working Hours: Mon to Fri - 9am to 5.30pm and Alternate Sat - 9am to 12.45pm
