Job Description

Royal Ocean Marine, a leading headhunting / recruitment agencies company in the maritime industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced QHSSE Superintendent to join our client\'s team. The QHSSE Superintendent will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality, health, safety, security, and environmental performance of our vessels and operations. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the international regulations, best practices, and standards in the maritime industry and can lead the development and implementation of related policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QHSSE policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with international regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of our vessels, equipment, and facilities, and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide training and support to crew members and staff to enhance their awareness and skills in QHSSE.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and develop corrective actions to prevent their recurrence.
• Establish and maintain relations with regulators, class societies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and promote excellence.
• Monitor and analyze QHSSE data and trends, and report to management regularly.
• Participate in emergency response and crisis management, and coordinate with relevant parties to minimize risk and impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in maritime studies, engineering, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in QHSSE management in the maritime industry.
• In-depth knowledge of international regulations, industry standards, and best practices in QHSSE.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams and projects effectively.
• Fluent in English, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
