Lead safety practices and initiatives.
Manage and maintain the company\xe2\x80\x99s QHSSE management system on vessels, identify and address system or process gaps, and implement improvements.
Prepare or update vessel-specific manuals as needed.
Maintain QHSSE department documents and records, review shipboard month-end documentation submissions, risk assessments, and permits to work.
Implement QHSSE programs and oversee QHSSE activities onboard.
Conduct crew inductions and briefings, provide shipboard training and safety coaching, and monitor computer-based training to enhance safety awareness.
Follow-up on incident, accident, and near miss reporting, conduct investigations, root cause analysis, implement preventive measures, and ensure proper documentation and closure.
Prepare and distribute circulars as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree/Diploma in Navigation/shipping qualification or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Familiar with international and local maritime regulations and requirements is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
