Job Description
$7200 + AWS + VB + allowance5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hoursLocation: WestResponsibilities
- Lead safety practices and initiatives.
- Manage and maintain the company\xe2\x80\x99s QHSSE management system on vessels, identify and address system or process gaps, and implement improvements.
- Prepare or update vessel-specific manuals as needed.
- Maintain QHSSE department documents and records, review shipboard month-end documentation submissions, risk assessments, and permits to work.
- Implement QHSSE programs and oversee QHSSE activities onboard.
- Conduct crew inductions and briefings, provide shipboard training and safety coaching, and monitor computer-based training to enhance safety awareness.
- Follow-up on incident, accident, and near miss reporting, conduct investigations, root cause analysis, implement preventive measures, and ensure proper documentation and closure.
- Prepare and distribute circulars as needed.
- Bachelor\'s degree/Diploma in Navigation/shipping qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Familiar with international and local maritime regulations and requirements is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
