Job Description

We are searching for a reliable QS Engineer MUST be an Electrical Engineer to join our capable team of professionals. The Quantity Surveyor will be tasked with analyzing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.Product Knowledge1. To study and master all information about the product/s and services being carried by the company.Operations1. Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client2. Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work3. Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies4. Perform risk, value management, and cost control5. Advise on a procurement strategy6. Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risks7. Prepare and analyze costings for tenders8. Allocate work to subcontractors9. Provide advice on contractual claims10. Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports11. Value completed work and arrange payments12. Maintain awareness of the different project contracts in current use13. Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.14. Knowledgeable or having an experienced in QS, QC and QA.15. Interpreting technical drawings and design specifications.16. Responsible for presentation, billings, documentation and reports.17. Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.18. Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.19. Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.20. Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.21. Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.22. Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.23. Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.24. Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.25. Traveling from the office to various sites as required.Customer Relations1. To maintain and cultivate good relationships with all customers at all times.2. To represent the company during meetings and other activities as required by the client.As Company Representative to the Client1. To conform to the grooming standards of the company at all times as a representative of the Company.2. To ensure that all company personnel assigned to the project conform to the client's rules and regulations at site.Others1.
