POSITION SUMMARY

You will work closely with the hotel management team to implement and maintain quality standards and procedures aligned with the hotel and brand strategy. As a Quality Assurance professional in the hospitality industry, your role would involve deploying, administering, and coordinating quality control procedures and programs for hotel operations, services, and facilities management. You will conduct inspections and audits to ensure industry standards and regulations compliance.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You would be responsible for preparing reports and presentations to communicate the results of quality control audits, inspections, and other related activities.
  • Furthermore, you will analyze customer feedback and reviews to identify trends and priorities. Your report will enable the hotel to focus on the areas that require attention and verify the implemented plans\' success.
  • You would also need to assist in delivering training programs the quality office provides.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that the data repository is kept up-to-date, accurate, and well-organized. This will involve monitoring data quality, identifying and resolving data issues, implementing data standards and policies, and ensuring data security and privacy. As the data custodian, you may be required to collaborate with other departments to ensure that data is utilized and collected effectively and efficiently in support of overall business objectives.
  • When necessary, you will correspond with customers tactfully using the style and tone befitting luxury standards.
  • In line with The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards, it is essential to note that this role involves providing lateral service to other departments.
  • Collecting information through involvement in day-to-day operations whenever necessary to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the processes and challenges faced by various departments. This approach provides valuable insights that can inform the development of more effective strategies and solutions to overcome operational hurdles and enhance overall performance.
  • To maintain proficiency in your field, it will be necessary to remain up-to-date with the latest industry and brand standards and regulations on quality control in the hospitality sector. This will entail staying current with any changes or updates to regulatory requirements that may impact your work and continuously acquiring new skills and knowledge.
  • You will also assist the Director of Quality in other business administrative matters.

Essential:
  • The candidate should possess a diploma or higher qualifications from an accredited educational institution, with a preference for areas of study such as Hospitality or Business Administration, Data Analytics, or Computer Science
  • Proactive, dependable, curious, adaptable, respectful, positive attitude, team player, service-oriented and self-regulating
  • Passionate interest in the luxury hospitality industry
  • Eloquent and well-spoken; excellent command of English in both verbal and written communication
  • Well-groomed with a refined and polished decorum
Desirable
  • Previous experience in luxury hospitality industry, preferably a 5-star hotel
