• Responsible for quality performance of Power and Controls Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Collins (Singapore) facility.
• Report directly to the Accountable Manager on matters concerning the quality system and in the event of any reported discrepancy not being adequately attended to by the relevant person.
• Maintain and improve Quality Management System to ensure compliance with requirements of CAAS & International Airworthiness Authorities
• Maintain corporate quality and safety management systems
• Drives continuous improvement utilizing RTX\'s CORE methodology to improve performance in key quality performance metrics
• Champions quality improvement projects.
• Monitors Cost of poor quality (COPQ) and drives actions to reduce COPQ by working with Operations, Finance, and Engineering Teams.
• Conducts monthly Quality Meetings with management Team to review Site Performance, customer and regulatory updates, share best practices and report progress on initiatives to leadership.
• Leads Zero Defect Plan (ZDP) initiatives across the site.
• Improve internal and external audit procedures and implement actions to ensure compliance
• Responsible for reviewing and amendment of the organization Exposition Manuals, Instruction procedure Manual and Quality Manuals
• Supports supplier qualification / certification.
• Performs Escape management procedures, drives root cause analysis & problem solving and recommends corrective and preventive action for systemic process for product provided by suppliers.
• Analyzes quality data to identify systemic issues and develops supplier specific quality initiative strategies and addresses with key proactive quality tools (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, SPC, etc.), driving their implementation.
• Provide training on airworthiness and safety regulations to all employees
• Comply with Export Control Regulations of all countries where Collins Aerospace operates
• Handle Singapore and US Export Controlled Hardware and Technology
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time with respect to Quality Assurance issues

• Degree in Engineering / Quality Management / Aeronautical
• Knowledge of and experience in ISO 9001/AS9110 quality management systems
• Have at least 7 years of aviation experience, of which a minimum of 2 years experience in quality assurance in related aviation environment and 2 years in a leadership position.
• Well-versed in various Civil Aviation Regulations : SAR145, FAR145, EASA145 & CCAR145
• Passed the CAAS Air Legislation examination paper L11, L12 or M10 as appropriate.
• Strong communications and leadership skills
• Intermediate information system skill level and SAP.
