The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting inspections, performing tests, maintaining documentation, and supporting the continuous improvement of the company's quality management system.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and quality checks on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
Perform routine testing according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality specifications.
Record and analyze test data, identify deviations, and report non-conformities.
Support root cause analysis and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, reports, and records.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
Assist in internal and external audits of the quality system.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to maintain product quality consistency.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
Skills and Qualifications:
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Engineering, Science, or Quality Management.
Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
Experience in quality assurance or quality control (manufacturing or construction preferred).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality inspection tools/equipment.
