Job Description

• Must Knowledge in Structral & Pipping Codes and standards. Review Project specifications and make sure in order and find if any deviation.
• Construction Drawings review and find the issue and rectify
• Review of Quality Assurance Plan(QAP).
• Review of WPS (Welding procedure specification), PQR (Procedure Qualification record) and WPQ (Welder performance Qualification record).
• Review of Raw materials with reference to Material Test certificates and applicable standards and specifications.
• Witnessing fitup inspection and checking joint configurations based on the drawings and specified codes and specifications.
• Review of Dimensional control reports to meet the tolerance requirements as per the drawing and procedure specifications.
• Confirm weldability of materials and Check whether any Preheat or Post weld heat treatment required for welding as per procedures.
• Monitoring Welder for proper using of consumables as per WPS requirements and Witness weld activities.
• Witnessing weld visual inspections to ensure weld free from defects and damage.
• Requesting for NDT inspections (UT, MPI, RT & PT, once after cleared the welding visual inspections.
• Preparing Visual Inspection reports and Review of NDT Reports.
• Review of Post weld Heat Treatment Records if any.
• Witnessing Hydro test and vacuum test.
• Preparation of Weld Traceability Records and Preparing Inspection Dossiers.
• Must have Certification of CSWIP 3.1 welding Inspector.
• Must have ASNT Certified NDT Level \xe2\x80\x93 II in Penetrant Testing (PT),Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
