Founded in 1998 in Singapore with our principal business in high-tech factory engineering, we have since extended our expertise into commercial projects with luxury hotels and commercial properties. The Project team is currently looking for a suitable candidate to join us as a Project Engineers (Mechanical) to drive the ongoing and new projects in the company. Duties & Responsibilities: . Assist the project manager to oversee all aspects of project MEP QAQC work - Attend and participate in QAQC and related meetings. - Prepare PQP, ITP, and other QAQC documents per project requirements. - Prepare all necessary documents and attachments for the inspection and testing requirement. - Review the MEP works check list, as built drawing and related quality control documents for final dossier. - Coordinate internal project quality audit. . Ensure the electrical/mechanical work carried out is as per approved shop drawing and within the time frame and progress of the approved construction program. . Ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all the MEP equipment, fittings and installation meets the specification and the project/consultant requirements - Coordinate inspections with Main Contractor/Consultant/Client and to communicate with project team - Coordinate with Main Contractor/Consultant/Client for inspection activities with issued RFI (Request for inspection) for witness/hold point. - Report deviations from approved plans and specifications - Review all incoming materials received are inspected, per approved Material Specifications . Verify the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance to the project specification, consultant's design and prevailing Singapore standards or Code of Practice. - Overall quality supervision for MEP works. - Ensure construction, installation, and testing conform to functional specifications and project requirements. - Proactively supervise the closure of NCRs, suggest ideas for improvement. - Track and close Punchlist and defects with project team . Coordinate, liaise and manage various project stakeholders including customers, consultants, sub- contractors, vendors, etc. on site to ensure project requirements are met. . Able to communicate effective to all stakeholders. . Attend to all other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by reporting manager. . Work location: Singapore Island wide. Qualifications & Experience: . Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) . Experience working as a MEP/QAQC Engineer for an MEP Contractor, . Able to use Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power point & Autocad, and other related project software . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and is extremely detail-oriented . Outgoing with strong interpersonal and communication skills. . Ability to work independently and target oriented in a fast-paced environment. . Ability to work & interact effectively with project members and managers at all levels, in a cross-functional team environment. . Keen interest to join the Construction Engineering industry, in particular on Technology Projects, e.g. Data Centre Construction. . Keen Interest in design, HT exposure and/or Control Panel/BMS
