He/She observes and recognizes deviations in established protocols and informs the QC Manager. * Ensures that th Basic Functions: Follows SOP and carries our daily QC activities independently. He/She observes and recognizes deviations in established protocols and informs the QC Manager. Ensures that the QMS is properly implemented and maintained within the QC operations. Duties: Performs routine QC inspection and testing with minimal supervision. Prepares laboratory reagents. Cleans and sterilizes labware. Maintains overall laboratory cleanliness. Ensures all jobs are done according to SOP and all results are properly documented. Assist in lab equipment calibration and maintenance. Assist in troubleshooting activities. Performs other duties as and when required. Minimum qualification Requirements: Ability to : Follow Quality Control Procedures in the QC testing. Independently perform procedures relating to inspection, testing, production or troubleshooting. Recognize easily discernible changes in experiments or tests and keep exact and detailed records Knowledge of : Technical terminology used in the laboratory, assigned scientific techniques and knowledge of QC procedures governing a number or basic laboratory operations. Awareness of laboratory safety. Education : BSc or Diploma in Biotechnology or Chemical Process Technology or equivalent. Experience : Laboratory exposure and industrial attachment experience.
