About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced

Quality Engineer

to join our growing team. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable products by building robust testing frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving best practices in Quality Engineering. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, hands-on experience in test automation, and thrives in fast-paced, agile environments such as start-ups or scale-ups.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain test strategies, frameworks, and plans covering both functional and non-functional testing. Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to create and execute testing plans across the product lifecycle. Drive and advocate best practices in Quality Engineering, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and testing standards. Take ownership of testing delivery from requirement analysis through to product release. Identify risks, blind spots, and performance gaps while recommending corrective actions. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the QA team, helping them adopt automation, BDD, and TDD approaches. Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve testing strategies and product reliability.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in

cloud, SaaS, eCommerce, or internet-based environments

. Strong background in working with

databases

(SQL/NoSQL) and scripting languages like

Python, JavaScript, etc.

Proven experience with automation tools and frameworks such as

Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Robot Framework, QTP, Silk, or Watir

. Solid understanding of

Agile methodologies

and experience in cross-functional teams practicing

CI/CD

. Knowledge and application of

Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD)

and

Test-Driven Development (TDD)

. Ability to write simple test scripts or code to validate functionality. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to

Non-Functional Testing

(security, load, performance). Experience leading

large-scale projects or products

in collaboration with business, design, and technology teams. Familiarity with

automated deployment and release engineering processes

. Interest in or experience with the

investment/finance domain
