We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer - Automation to join our Enterprise Platforms Engineering team. The ideal candidate brings a passion for quality, a strategic mindset, and deep expertise in test automation. You will play a critical role in driving the design, development, and execution of robust automated test solutions across our platform.
This role requires strong collaboration skills, the ability to work across diverse teams with varying levels of experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable enterprise solutions. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor peers, influence quality engineering best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes.
Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Design and Development

• Design and develop scalable and maintainable automated test frameworks for UI, API, and backend components.
• Build end-to-end test scenarios using tools like Selenium, Postman, Cucumber.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Test Strategy and Planning

• Define test strategies that align with product and release goals.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to review requirements.
• and identify test scenarios.
• Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, performance, and load testing.
• Quality Ownership

• Identify, document, and track bugs/defects through defect lifecycle tools like Atlassian tools JIRA.
• Drive root cause analysis for production bugs and ensure test coverage is updated.
• Continuous Improvement

• Mentor junior QA engineers and share knowledge of best practices in test automation.
• Recommend improvements in development and testing processes for higher product quality.
• Conduct code reviews for test automation scripts.
• Reporting and Metrics

• Create and maintain dashboards/reports to track test coverage, execution results, and quality KPIs.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Performance Testing

• To validate system performance under expected and peak load conditions using Apache JMeter, ensuring the application behaves reliably, meets response time SLAs, and scales as intended.

Experience and Education:

• 8-10 years of Experience in Quality Automation Testing.
• Bachelors Degree
• Hands-on in UI, API, backend automation (Selenium, Postman, Cucumber)
• CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Strong in test strategy, defect tracking (JIRA), and root cause analysis
• Skilled in performance testing using JMeter

Basic knowledge of Linux, virtualization, SQL/NoSQL, Kubernetes, and networking (TCP/IP). * Able to mentor, review code, and improve QA practice
