Job Description




Job Responsibilities
This position is responsible for driving the Lam Quality Program in the region - drive quality investigation/RCCA towards resolution & build customer’s trust.

  • Take leadership role in the Lam Quality Management through the IQMS (Integrated Quality Management System)
  • Maintain/edit content quality of NCe (Non-conformance External) & adjust customer impact level appropriately; identify gaps in NCe to Field Service Management & drive improvements.
  • Monitor content quality of Investigation & RCCA (Root Cause/Corrective Action); report deficiencies to originator & GQ (Global Quality)
  • Respond to RFI (Request For Information)
  • Maintain key customer metrics in the region; engage with QCOs (Quality Case Owner) to drive Investigation & RCCA or other performances as required
  • Extract reports from Investigation & RCCA to be presented to customers; review for customer friendliness of content & manage edits through QCOs
  • Provide feedback to GQ on customer reaction to delivered content originating from iQMS
  • Drive iQMS Investigation cycle times 14 days & 60 days for Critical & Low Customer Impacts; and timelines as stipulated by Customer (for SQN or SCAR)


Other Job Responsibilities
  • Build customer trust through consistent communication and reporting
  • Contribute to the Quality Community & collaborate with all regional QPLs
  • Spares Business Analysis
  • Develop reports and analysis to improve Spares business management
  • Work closely with Finance, Product Specialist, Account and Operations team to analyze spares market share and business performance against forecast and commits
  • Pro-actively highlight spares agreements (MBI, MSA) where customers may not be meeting their commitments
  • Analyze and recommend areas for improvement in business management, spare parts pricing and performance management


Minimum Qualifications
  • Engineering degree or equivalent/ with relevant working experience
  • Excellent customer management skills and possess experience in dealing with difficult work partners
  • Possesses strong inter-personal, negotiation and communications skills
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Able to work in an air-conditioned clean room; wear personal protective clothing which comprises of air respirator equipment, clean room garments and safety shoes


Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 to 5 Years’ Experience in Field Service / Field Process / Quality Assurance in the Frontend Semiconductor industry
