Develops and implements company and regulatory quality standards in the manufacturing facility.
Develops, implements, revises and maintains quality standards, tools and methods for processing materials into finished products.
Designs and implements quality control processes and procedures. Recommends revision of specifications when indicated.
Formulates or assists in formulating quality control policies and procedures.
Works with product group organization to design the lowest cost, highest efficiency and highest quality products.
Drives quality improvement and cost reduction using Six Sigma or Lean methodology.
Major Responsibilities:
Undertake plant investigations.
Monitor CAPA and perform trending.
Review and approve change controls and protocols.
General knowledge of procedures and activities within own work area.
Focused on learning the key aspects and duties of the job being performed.
Applies research, information gathering and analytical skills.

Works on assignments where judgment is required a majority of the time.

Skills/Experience Requirements:
0 to 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Project management skills or experience in project management is essential.
Team player with initiative, drive, good communication skills and a strong command of written English.
Proven problem-solving capability, customer focus and commitment to continuous.
Good practical knowledge of GMP in food/ pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Good report writing skills.
Education:
Bachelor of Engineering or Science in Food Science, Food Technology, Dairy Science or related discipline or Diploma with minimum 1 to 3 years of experience.
