Support in implementing Company\xe2\x80\x99s level Quality and Safety Management policies and Safety Management System initiatives, strategies and programs
Ensure compliance of work to all relevant statutory and company regulations and standards operating procedures in the department.
Managing capability build up to ensure compliance with regulations and coordinating with QD for the application of the appropriate approvals
Maintain the department\xe2\x80\x99s capability list. Ensure new engine CLCF is verified and approved.
Coordinate and facilitate all audits on Quality, Safety, Security, Environment and Training by internal and external auditors at company facilities
Ensure all customers and relevant Authorities\xe2\x80\x99 Corrective Action Responses (CARs) are submitted, implemented and followed up through a proper Root Cause Analysis and problem resolution process Work with Ops and Quality Investigation on SDR \xe2\x80\x93 8 D requirements to ensure comprehensive responses are submitted to customer on time.
Liaise with Customers and relevant Authorities on quality and regulatory related matters
Regularly review the work process, identify and develop improvement programs and champion implementation plans
Maintain a robust tool, material and equipment control system and making sure work area is well demarcated and segregated with proper signage and label.
Ensure daily surveillance on maintenance and critical task, environment and tools/equipment in aspects of Aviation and Workplace Safety requirements is performed
Monitor and update Critical Task, High incident Task monitoring, end of engine maintenance surveillances, documentation check, etc. on all engines undergoing maintenance in the department.
Collate quality review reports for Senior Management and Customers
Monitor quality KPIs for emerging trends and recommend corrective and/or corrective actions\xe2\x80\x99
Ensure training and competency of personnel in the department are adhered to
Carry out the Maintenance Proficiency Program (MPP) for staff of ESD to ensure competency for tasks on engine
Maintain Risk Register and ensure the review of Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (HIRA) is done on schedule
Manage Department News Network used for mass communication and sharing of important work highlights and staff welfare
Administer and ensure quality documents are reviewed periodically, maintained and updated
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related discipline
Min 8 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a managerial role in aviation quality
Good understanding of airworthiness regulations and requirements e.g. FAA, EASA, CAAS and other NAAs
Experience and Good understanding of QMS, SMS and AS9100, OHS45001
Familiarity of inspection methods, techniques and equipment would be an added advantage
Knowledge of problem resolution and LEAN
Able to effectively multi-task and work cross-functionally
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of Tableau would be an added advantage
