The Quality Manager is responsible for overall compliance of Quality Management System for the plant. This role reports to the Service Center Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities
Ownership includes both quality assurance and quality control. Includes quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes. Includes conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, etc.
Manage a team of product quality engineer and quality assurance engineer
Develop effective plans to reduce cost of poor quality, customer escapes
Implement local quality priorities in line with Global, Regional and Plant quality strategy
Drive fast and accurate resolution of customer and internal issues, drives effective corrective and preventive actions
Lead RCA management, ensuring timely RCA resolutions
Ensure ISO re-certification & compliance
Lead Kaizen efforts to reduce or eliminate top defects
Drive problem solving to reduce repeated top concerns
