Uphold and enhance the Quality Management System\'s effectiveness.
Establish and maintain an efficient internal Quality Audit system.
Lead and implement quality methodologies like PFMEA, mistake-proofing, PPAP, Component Proving, Statistical Process Control, etc., to foster a zero-defects culture.
Enhance and sustain site quality performance indicators (defects, COPQ, right-first-time).
Foster clear communication with customers, internal management, and vendors to ensure quality standards meet expectations.
Monitor and evaluate process and product outputs, identifying systemic issues and opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with team members to drive towards flawless quality performance.
Actively participate in the Quality Council team to exchange and adopt best practices.
Lead comprehensive Root Cause Investigations and drive the implementation of effective preventive actions.
Establish and maintain an efficient product and process audit program.
Ensure timely resolution of internal and external Quality audit findings.
Oversee supplier quality performance.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Quality Engineers.
Requirements
Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
A minimum of 8 years of quality-related experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace, metal machining, or precision engineering, with at least 3 years in a Quality team leadership role.
Certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
Proficiency in quality tools and techniques.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a fast-paced production setting.
An agile change agent with a proactive approach to achieving quality outcomes.
Possesses a systems-thinking mindset and adept problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills to engage a diverse workforce across all organizational levels.
