• Monitor and inspect production areas according to ISO 22000 and customer requirements, feedback to relevant departments on any rectification required.
• Establish SOP for food quality and safety to fulfil all mandatory and statutory requirements
• Maintain and update documentations / records / certificates for ISO 22000 and act as a Food Safety Team Member.
• Manage customer complaints ensuring effective resolution through verification of the effectiveness of corrective and / or preventive actions
• Responsible and support all internal, external and regulatory audits
• Act as Qualified Personnel (QP) for food export processes and liaise with relevant regulatory authorities (e.g. SFA, HPB)
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive changes
• Conduct microbiological analysis for finished food products and environmental monitoring of facility and personnel
• Work with R&D chef for shelf life testing and conduct trend analysis when required
• Upkeep of laboratory consumables and cleanliness, participate in laboratory ICP and GLP
• Prepare materials and conduct food safety and hygiene related trainings to build competencies and awareness
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management
  

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Microbiology or similar discipline
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory / managerial role preferably from the food industry
• Strong knowledge in FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000, Halal and Singapore Food Authority requirements
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
